　　After thirty years in international education I am excited to find myself as Headmaster directing the next phase of this school's development alongside my Chinese colleagues. We have a unique campus which echoes our mission, “Proudly Chinese, Truly International”.

　　三十多年的国际教育经验使我有充分的信心和我的中国同事们一起引领未来精诚实验小学国际部的发展。我们有着独一无二的校园，践行着我们伟大的愿景：最国际的中国教育，最中国的国际教育。

　　In the last twenty years the world has become much smaller and your children will need the skills to cope in an international environment. Children need the ability to speak fluently in English and develop global awareness. Our school aims to provide these skills and it also aims to encourage children to develop a wide range of life-long interests.

　　过去的二十年里，全球化进程的加速使孩子们面临更多的机会和挑战。他们需要更加自信的运用英语并在继承中国传统价值的基础上开拓国际视野。而一所最国际的中国小学则恰恰需要赋予学生上述本领，鼓励他们去发掘能够终身受益的兴趣，全面成长。

　　Our school mission also has another side to it. Chinese education has many core strengths and we would not wish to undermine our sense of being Chinese by promoting a totally “international education”. So this school will remain true to the best value and traditions of Chinese education. We will emphasize good behavior, discipline and achievement in the classroom and your children will be able to make progress through the Chinese educational system.

　　教育的意义在于继承、传承和发扬。中国的基础教育有着不可否认的优势：集体意识，课堂纪律和对于教学的重视。因此真正的国际教育，一所最中国的国际小学一定是在继承中国教育优势的基础上中西结合，在课程与课外等方方面面与国际接轨;只有中学为体，西学为用，才能够让学生终身受益，并在中国教育体制下脱颖而出。
